What you'll do

Design and implement end-to-end cloud data pipelines for compensation ingestion, calculation, and distribution.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Python, AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.
Architect and develop event-driven workflows leveraging AWS EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.
Implement data quality, reconciliation, auditing, and monitoring capabilities to ensure data integrity.
Modernize legacy compensation platforms into scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS-native services.
Perform data modeling and performance optimization using relational databases like RDS, Postgres, and SQL Server.
Apply CI/CD and DevOps best practices to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause resolution under tight timelines.

What we're looking for

10+ years of experience designing and delivering complex enterprise systems.
7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience using Python and SQL.
Experience with AWS services including Glue, Lambda, EventBridge, RDS, and S3.
Ability to design scalable, event-driven and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern software engineering standards.
Experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, Angular, or API development (preferred).
Experience with Snowflake, compensation systems, or rules-driven systems (preferred).
