What you'll do

Develop software using Java Spring Boot, microservices frameworks, and relational or NoSQL databases.
Build and deploy native AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Define and implement application-level architecture and GitHub branching strategies.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and complex software solutions.
Establish full project life cycle plans and coordinate schedules for multiple projects.
Perform technical and functional analysis to provide technology solutions for daily issues.
Mentor junior team members and advise senior management on technical strategy.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Design and Java Web application development using Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Soap, and RESTful Web services.
Experience building and maintaining microservices oriented web applications in a financial services, banking, or insurance domain.
Expertise in provisioning AWS cloud infrastructure including Batch, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
Experience developing software with relational databases (SQL, Oracle, RDBMS) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra).
Expertise in Aerospike caching and designing real-time ingestion pipes into Oracle, StepFunction, and AWS Batch.
Experience containerizing applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
