Senior Manager, Soc Power Modeling

What you'll do

• Own and drive the power modeling effort for Computing and Graphics.
• Develop power and performance modeling frameworks for rapid prototyping and "what-if" analysis.
• Perform detailed workload analysis to identify power efficiency opportunities in IP, subsystems, and SoCs.
• Define power roadmaps and competitive targets for bounding box workloads with internal and external partners.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure power feature realization from concept through silicon attainment.
• Lead modeling for complex power use cases and correlate estimates with pre-silicon and post-silicon data.
• Create innovative power reduction initiatives and drive cross-organizational alignment for power convergence.
• Optimize PC use cases for absolute power and relative performance per watt.

What we're looking for

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in large and small teams across multiple sites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to drive technical discussions.
• Several years of relevant, commercial experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related discipline (preferred).
• Architect with deep understanding of semiconductor power architecture and power delivery (preferred).
• Experience with power integrity/signal integrity analysis, droop management, and capacitor performance (preferred).
• Experience defining and analyzing workloads and optimizing computing systems for performance and power efficiency (preferred).
