The Principal Security Engineer Manager will lead a team within the Windows Attack Research & Protection team to secure Windows client and server operating systems. What you'll do

Lead a team of engineers to build systems that find and quantify security vulnerabilities in native code.
Develop world-class tools to help security researchers identify new categories of vulnerabilities.
Devise new methods to systematically detect security vulnerabilities at scale.
Build tools that enable developers to perform automated and scalable security testing.
Collaborate with product teams to improve security and articulate the business value of security investments.
Manage a team of security engineers focused on building automation for vulnerability discovery and remediation.

What we're looking for

Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of experience in security or related field.
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of experience in security or related field.
Equivalent experience to the degree and years of experience requirements.
1+ year(s) of people management experience.
Hands-on experience with native code (C/C++).
Experience building agentic systems and tools.
Clear understanding of OS security fundamentals and solid computer science skills.
7+ years of experience in a software engineering or security-related field (preferred).
1+ years managing security-focused engineering teams (preferred).
