What you'll do

Design and develop secure, scalable software for managing certificates, cryptographic keys, and trust infrastructure.
Lead the evolution of middleware patterns and runtimes to standardize interoperability across the platform.
Define and enforce versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies to minimize downstream impacts.
Establish shared observability baselines, including SLOs and error budgets, across multiple services.
Conduct performance profiling and optimization to build scalable solutions for cloud-scale challenges.
Implement complex API versioning, lifecycle management, and interoperability strategies.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and code reviews to less experienced engineers.
Execute system maintenance tasks including patching, automated testing, and debugging to ensure high availability.

What we're looking for

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Requires 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
Must possess strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building distributed systems.
Must have an interest in applied cryptography and cloud security.
Must be able to design, develop, test, and deliver secure, scalable software for certificate and key management.
Must be capable of performing complex performance profiling, optimization, and troubleshooting of API functionality.
Must be able to implement secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
Must be able to provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
