As a Principal Platform Software Engineer, you will join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team to design and build a next-generation artifact management platform for internal libraries and build artifacts. What you'll do

Design and implement highly scalable services for managing large artifact datasets and high request volumes.
Execute strategies to migrate petabytes of historical artifacts from legacy systems while ensuring data integrity.
Integrate the artifact management platform with internal CI/CD workflows and deployment systems.
Lead technical design discussions, drive architectural decisions, and provide high-quality code reviews.
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across complex, cross-team initiatives.
Define monitoring, alerting, disaster recovery, and reliability practices for large-scale operations.
Analyze usage patterns and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements in platform scalability.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
Proven experience is required in designing and building scalable distributed systems.
A strong background in cloud infrastructure is required, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Experience with CI/CD systems, artifact repositories, or developer productivity platforms is required.
Experience with large-scale data migration, data consistency, and production rollout strategies is required.
Strong technical leadership skills including architecture ownership, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring are required.
