What you'll do

Design and operate cloud-native services for robot registration, identity management, mission orchestration, and fleet management.
Build scalable backend services using modern distributed systems and microservice architectures.
Design secure APIs, service contracts, SDKs, and edge interfaces for multi-vendor robot integration.
Develop AI-assisted, spec-driven robot onboarding capabilities to generate service contracts and integration specifications.
Build reusable edge service frameworks to simplify robot integration while maintaining consistent cloud interfaces.
Improve the reliability, scalability, observability, security, and performance of distributed cloud services.
Apply software engineering best practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.

What we're looking for

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
7+ years of software development experience building backend services or cloud platforms.
Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
Experience developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable production software.
MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field (preferred).
Experience with robotics frameworks, communication protocols, or simulation environments (preferred).
