What you'll do

Develop cloud-native services for robot registration, identity management, mission orchestration, and fleet telemetry.
Build scalable backend microservices using distributed systems architectures.
Design secure APIs, service contracts, SDKs, and edge interfaces for multi-vendor robot integration.
Create AI-assisted, spec-driven onboarding capabilities to automate the generation of service contracts and adapter implementations.
Develop reusable edge service frameworks to simplify robot integration while maintaining consistent cloud interfaces.
Improve the reliability, scalability, observability, and security of distributed cloud services.
Perform architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews for production-ready software.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field is preferred.
7+ years of software development experience building backend services or cloud platforms.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
Experience with robotics frameworks (ROS 2), communication protocols (DDS, MQTT, OPC-UA), and simulation environments.
Experience integrating IoT devices or edge systems with cloud services and designing service contracts or SDKs.
