As a Principal Perception Architect, you will join the team responsible for developing intelligent systems that enable machines to perceive their environment and make informed decisions in dynamic construction sites. You will define the end-to-end perception architecture across sensors, processing, machine learning, fusion, 3D mapping, validation, and safety while owning the roadmap and key architectural trade-offs regarding accuracy, latency, and reliability. Your daily work involves ensuring sensor processing, object detection, and semantic understanding function as a unified system integrated with robotics, edge platforms, and simulation. You will utilize C++, Python, and experience with camera, lidar, radar, stereo, ultrasonic, GNSS, and localization inputs to solve complex problems in construction autonomy. This role focuses on the intersection of physical systems and digital intelligence to create safe, productive operations for heavy machinery operating at scale.
