Principal Mobile Developer

What you'll do

• Architect enterprise-scale Android applications using Clean Architecture, MVVM, and MVI patterns.
• Develop reusable components and tools to improve application performance, stability, and time-to-market.
• Build and manage automation pipelines using DevOps principles and CI/CD tools.
• Create custom Gradle and Android Studio plug-ins to automate builds and enforce coding standards.
• Provide technical coaching and mentorship on software engineering best practices and Test-Driven Development.
• Implement mobile solutions using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile.
• Conduct code reviews and provide architectural governance to ensure high-quality, maintainable codebases.
• Integrate Firebase services and AI-driven development tools to enhance application stability and productivity.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field and experience as a Principal Mobile Developer.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field and experience as a Principal Mobile Developer.
• Experience performing native Android application development using Kotlin and Java in an enterprise software engineering environment.
• Expertise in UI development with Jetpack Compose, Material Design principles, and MVVM architecture.
• Expertise in developing custom Gradle and Android Studio plug-ins to automate build and release processes.
• Expertise leveraging AI-driven development tools like GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini.
• Expertise architecting modular applications using GitHub for source control and Firebase services for stability and performance.
• Experience with automated build tooling, cloud-based mobile services, and modern Android UI frameworks.
