The Principal Mobile Developer joins the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain full-stack features across native mobile platforms and back-end services. Develop and maintain full-stack features for native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin/Compose) applications.
Design and implement scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL APIs using Node.js, NestJS, or similar technologies.
Execute end-to-end releases using automated CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and AWS services like EC2, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
Implement security best practices including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and self-custody crypto wallet encryption.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement optimizations across the entire technology stack.
Provide technical solutioning, estimates, and code reviews while mentoring junior team members in an Agile environment.
Research emerging technologies and advise senior management on technical roadmaps and risk management strategies.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and five years of experience as a Principal Mobile Developer.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and three years of experience as a Principal Mobile Developer.
Experience developing native mobile applications for iOS and Android and integrating them with back-end APIs within Agile and DevOps environments.
Expertise designing scalable backend services and microservices using Node.js, NestJS, or GraphQL with OAuth and OpenID Connect.
Expertise in native iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, UIKit, XCUITest, XCTest, and Combine within VIPER or MVVM patterns.
Expertise in native Android development using Kotlin, Compose, Java, Espresso, JUnit, and Coroutines within Clean Architecture patterns.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS services including EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), trunk-based development, and WCAG accessibility guidelines.
