Principal Mechanical Engineer

What you'll do

• Design mechanical systems, components, enclosures, and packaging using advanced CAD tools like ProE or SolidWorks.
• Develop thermal cooling strategies and conduct detailed thermal analysis using CFD tools such as FloTHERM or Icepak.
• Perform stress, strain, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the reliability of materials and components.
• Identify potential failure points and perform root cause and corrective action analysis to improve product durability.
• Manage the transition of designs from prototype to production by collaborating with operations teams and external manufacturers.
• Conduct reliability assessments, environmental testing, and airflow measurements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Research and integrate next-generation materials and technologies to optimize data center and cloud products.
• Manage project timelines, documentation, and resource coordination for mechanical design engineering projects.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be proficient in advanced CAD tools such as ProE or SolidWorks for 3D modeling.
• Must be able to perform structural analysis including stress, strain, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Must be able to conduct thermal analysis using CFD tools like FloTHERM or Icepak.
• Must be able to manage the transition of designs from prototype to production while ensuring manufacturability.
• Must be able to lead environmental testing to ensure compliance with global regulatory and industry standards.
