Principal Fab Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Own the design, specification, and verification of hardware systems for wafer level probers and testers.
• Write software to configure test equipment and interface with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) data.
• Manage tool performance by reviewing control charts, calibration coefficients, and resolving lot/wafer holds.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance measurement quality, uptime, capacity, and production yield.
• Identify, purchase, install, and qualify new tool components and instruments from external vendors.
• Investigate root causes for scrap events and tool interruptions to implement permanent corrective actions.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring methodologies to detect equipment performance excursions early.
• Create and maintain operating procedures, training documentation, and certification programs for team members.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in a similar or related role.
• Proficiency in selecting, purchasing, installing, and qualifying tool components and instruments.
• Experience with EG4090 and TEL probers, as well as wafer level Analog DC and Linear/Non-Linear RF measurements.
• Knowledge of probe card technologies (Cantilever, Vertical, GSG, Pyramid) and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Python and Git Lab for software programming across Linux and Windows systems.
• Expertise in circuit knowledge, measurement accuracy, and statistical methods including SPC and DOE.
• Experience with Cadence, VEE, JAVA, JSCRIPT, JSON, or JMP (preferred).
