Principal Engineer

What you'll do

• Partner with product management to craft product strategy and align technology roadmaps.
• Create and own technical product designs and system architectures.
• Develop and shape a departmental-wide technical vision for the future.
• Coach and mentor team members to ensure excellence in output quality.
• Work with customers to understand their needs and improve product offerings.
• Shape engineering approaches by sharing knowledge with software and architecture teams.
• Support risk management by protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
• Conduct technical presentations for small-to-medium sized groups.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must independently possess the eligibility to work in the United States at the date of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• Fifteen or more years of experience in designing and developing complex software projects.
• At least eight or more years of experience in the FinTech domain.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams to create technical solutions.
• Proven track record designing and building complex end-to-end systems as a full stack developer.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing using Java, RESTful Web Services, Microservices, and AWS.
• Knowledge of SDLC best practices, Agile/Scrum/LEAN methodologies, and DevOps practices.
