Principal Engineer, Zelle Client Solutions

What you'll do

• Create technical product designs and architecture for complex software projects.
• Partner with product management to craft product strategy and align it with technology roadmaps.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on software engineering issues, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Coach and mentor team members while modeling best practices in engineering.
• Develop and shape a departmental-wide technical vision for the future of the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and drive strategic change management.
• Work directly with customers to understand their needs and improve product features.
• Ensure system integrity by upholding risk management and data confidentiality standards.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must possess eligibility to work in the United States at the date of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is typically required.
• Fifteen or more years of experience designing and developing complex software projects are required.
• At least eight years of experience in the FinTech domain is required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to create technical solutions is required.
• Proven track record as a full stack developer building complex end-to-end systems is required.
• Hands-on experience with Java, RESTful Web Services, Microservices, and AWS is required.
• Knowledge of Splunk, Altiris, Zabbix, or other monitoring tools (preferred); M.S. or Ph.D. (preferred).
