What you'll do

Design and build complex full-stack features using Java to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Develop and maintain microservices and service-oriented architectures including RESTful APIs and GraphQL implementations.
Influence and evolve system architecture to ensure scalability, resilience, and alignment with business requirements.
Deliver code against sprint-level commitments while participating in all agile ceremonies and peer code reviews.
Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineers to help them solve complex design challenges.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to provide actionable recommendations for improving engineering capabilities.
Partner with stakeholders across the software development lifecycle to ensure technical solutions meet business goals.

What we're looking for

Software engineering experience building production-grade applications using Java, data structures, and object-oriented design.
Proven depth in cloud-native development and container orchestration using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for multiple years.
Extensive experience designing microservices and service-oriented architectures, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL implementations.
Strong working knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut, or Vert.x.
Practical experience with unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer code reviews.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tooling like Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, or Jenkins in on-premise or public cloud environments.
Multiple years of experience working within agile and iterative delivery frameworks including Scrum practices.
Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership to teams of five or more engineers.
