What you'll do

Design and build complex full-stack features using Java to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Influence and evolve system architecture to ensure scalability, resilience, and alignment with business requirements.
Deliver on sprint-level commitments by actively participating in agile ceremonies and peer code reviews.
Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to engineers to help them navigate complex design decisions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to provide actionable recommendations for improving engineering capabilities.
Partner with stakeholders across the software development lifecycle to ensure technical solutions meet business goals.
Promote a culture of technical excellence by establishing best practices and fostering knowledge sharing.

What we're looking for

6 or more years of software engineering experience building production-grade applications using Java, data structures, and object-oriented design.
Proven depth in cloud-native development and container orchestration using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for multiple years.
Extensive experience designing and building microservices and service-oriented architectures, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL implementations.
Strong working knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Quarkus, Micronaut, or Vert.x.
Practical experience with unit testing, automation, design patterns, and peer code review.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tooling such as Tekton, Harness, CircleCI, or Jenkins in on-premise or public cloud environments.
Multiple years of working within agile and iterative delivery frameworks including sprint execution and Scrum practices.
Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture (Kafka, Spark, Flink), Infrastructure as Code, and observability tools (preferred); mentoring teams of 5+ and front-end technologies (preferred).
