What you'll do

Create and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable high-traffic services using modern cloud technologies.
Design and evolve real-time, event-driven data streaming pipelines for high-throughput and low-latency delivery.
Lead all aspects of software development, including solution design, quality, deployment, and ongoing support.
Drive large-scale, complex projects by clarifying requirements, planning milestones, and ensuring timely delivery.
Provide technical mentorship to team members on design, architecture, and coding practices.
Lead incident response by driving investigations, resolving issues, and implementing preventive improvements.
Shape software architecture by incorporating cloud expertise to improve performance and team processes.
Transform high-level requirements into incremental product enhancements in collaboration with architects and product managers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
9+ years of hands-on experience in software design and development for cloud-based services.
Expert-level proficiency in Java with extensive development experience.
Strong, hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services including S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
Extensive experience building high-performance applications using caching technologies like Redis and MemoryDB.
Hands-on experience building and operating data streaming systems like Apache Kafka and designing fault-tolerant pipelines.
Experience with stream processing frameworks like Apache Flink, Kafka Streams, or Spark Streaming (preferred).
Strong background in REST API development and experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines such as Jenkins (preferred).
