Principal Engineer, Platform, Cloud Engineering and DevOps

What you'll do

• Lead the strategy and architecture for enterprise cloud platforms, infrastructure SRE, and Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
• Drive a reliability-first and automation-first approach to improve resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Establish engineering standards for cloud infrastructure, platform security, and container platforms across the organization.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and engineering automation solutions.
• Translate complex business objectives and technological requirements into scalable technical engineering solutions.
• Provide technical vision and expertise to leadership for implementing innovative, large-scale business solutions.
• Manage observability and monitoring platforms to ensure platform reliability and proactive incident management.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence enterprise technology strategy through technical leadership and execution.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of engineering experience in Software, Platform, Cloud, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, or SRE.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and engineering automation solutions.
• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or comparable container platforms.
• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale platform modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience defining engineering standards, architecture patterns, or platform strategies.
• 3+ years of experience with software delivery, automation, security, and operational resiliency practices.
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive engineering outcomes across large organizations.
• Industry certifications such as CKA, Red Hat OpenShift, AWS/Azure/GCP, or SRE preferred.
