What you'll do

Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python or Go to support AI platform services and agent runtimes.
Build and maintain RAG pipelines and tool-calling AI agents for data products including retrieval, orchestration, and grounding.
Integrate model providers with an LLM Gateway to support response streaming, prompt caching, and structured outputs.
Develop and maintain data-platform automation using dbt services and Airflow orchestration.
Extend the internal platform CLI and shared utilities to help data teams discover and consume data products.
Implement identity and security protocols including OAuth/OIDC flows, RBAC, and multi-tenant isolation.
Manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
Establish eval harnesses and guardrails to measure agent quality, latency, and cost.

What we're looking for

15+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining production backend services at scale.
Expert-level proficiency in Python, Go, or Java for server-side development.
Experience with REST/gRPC, streaming patterns, SQL, Snowflake, and NoSQL/key-value stores like DynamoDB.
Proficiency in AWS services including ECS Fargate, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CI/CD via GitHub Actions.
Expertise in building production LLM applications, RAG pipelines, and AI agents with tools like AWS Bedrock.
Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including OOP, SOLID principles, and data structures/algorithms.
Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow/MWAA, or Snowflake (preferred).
