JOB TITLE: Principal Cyber Software Test Engineer (TG) The Principal Cyber Software Test Engineer joins the Northrop Grumman Mission Systems team to lead complex test and evaluation activities for secure, multi-domain systems. This role involves analyzing system requirements and concept of operations documents to develop comprehensive evaluation plans, procedures, and status reports. You will support the development of Government test and evaluation documentation, including T&E Strategies and Master Plans. Daily responsibilities include planning and executing performance analysis, specifying and adapting Modeling and Simulation for testing, and managing data and configuration capabilities. You will use statistical analysis to characterize performance behavior and coordinate with systems engineering to assess operational environments. Key skills include experience with CNO development concepts, software design requirements, and the ability to provide technical direction to junior test engineers.

What you'll do

Develop evaluation and test plans by analyzing system requirements, acquisition plans, and system descriptions.
Support the development of Government test and evaluation documentation including strategies, master plans, and readiness assessments.
Plan and execute performance analysis and data collection to characterize confidence in performance estimates.
Specify, validate, and adapt modeling and simulation tools for test and evaluation use.
Establish and employ data and configuration management capabilities while ensuring data authentication compliance.
Coordinate with systems engineering to assess operational environments and prioritize test objectives.
Design surveys for evaluating subject matter expert input and user assessments of system performance.
Provide technical direction and guidance to junior test engineers on assigned tasks.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma with 9 years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5 years of experience.
Active and current TS/SCI security clearance with a Polygraph.
Ability to obtain related certifications within 6 months of employment.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements (preferred).
CNO development concepts (preferred).
