Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud resources, distributed computing systems, and data storage solutions for AI/ML workflows.
• Implement automation solutions using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes to streamline infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
• Optimize infrastructure performance by tuning parameters, managing resource utilization, and implementing caching and data pre-processing.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met across the stack, including encryption, access control, and vulnerability management.
• Troubleshoot complex issues regarding performance, scalability, and reliability for both proof of concept and production deployments.
• Act as a technical liaison to advise customers on GPU solutions and cloud migration best practices.
• Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure system maintainability.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in the field.
• Experience in scripting and automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python, and/or Kubernetes.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., Slurm, PBS).
• Strong Linux skills including system administration, package management, shell scripting, and performance optimization across various distributions.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure for AI/ML or HPC workloads (preferred).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Rust, Go, Java, or Scala (preferred).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, machine learning frameworks, and high-performance GPU systems (preferred).
