The role requires expertise in Java, cloud platforms like OCI or Azure, and CI/CD automation. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to other engineers, lead code reviews, and manage application maintenance, including testing, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation for this critical manufacturing software.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, debug, and maintain Java middle-tier and backend capabilities for the TDMS software suite.
  • Translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable software solutions for mission-critical applications.
  • Develop and troubleshoot services using Spring Boot, Jakarta, WebLogic, or similar middleware technologies.
  • Diagnose and resolve application and runtime issues within Linux environments.
  • Build and maintain Jenkins-based build and delivery workflows.
  • Perform data transformations using XML, JSON, and XSLT.
  • Develop cloud-oriented applications using OCI, Azure, or other comparable platforms.
  • Troubleshoot complex API integrations and service-to-service communication issues.

What we're looking for

  • Strong hands-on Java backend or middle-tier development experience.
  • Extensive experience working in Linux environments.
  • Experience with Spring/Spring Boot and enterprise middleware like WebLogic or JBoss.
  • Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, or build automation.
  • Experience working with XML and JSON data.
  • Experience with APIs, application integrations, and service-to-service interactions.
  • Cloud experience with OCI, Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
  • XSLT experience (preferred).
