What you'll do

Design, simulate, and optimize custom antenna elements for wideband and multi-band applications.
Lead the design of active phased array systems including feed networks and beamsteering architectures.
Perform full-wave electromagnetic simulations using Ansys HFSS and Dassault Systems CST to analyze performance metrics.
Integrate antennas with RF front-end components like filters, LNAs, and power amplifiers to ensure impedance matching.
Conduct hands-on hardware testing in anechoic chambers and near-field/far-field ranges to validate designs against models.
Address specific engineering challenges associated with millimeter-wave (mmWave) frequency ranges and manufacturing tolerances.
Collaborate with the RF ASIC team on the development of beamformer ICs.
Communicate technical status and product requirements directly to customers through meetings and written documentation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
8+ years of design experience.
Expert-level proficiency in ANSYS HFSS and CST Studio Suite for electromagnetic simulations.
Deep understanding of phased array theory, including grating lobes, mutual coupling, and beam scanning.
Proficiency in Cadence for matching network design and system-level budget analysis.
Mastery of measurement hardware including Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
Knowledge of high-frequency substrate properties and mmWave frequency challenges.
