As an Antenna Engineer (Starlink), you will have full ownership of phased array, Wi-Fi, and other RF systems for customer-facing hardware as well as advanced parabolic antenna systems for gateways and ground stations. You will design, fabricate, and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends while creating electromagnetic simulation models for hardware like filters and PCB layouts. The role requires proficiency in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB to write automation software for testing equipment. What you'll do

Design, fabricate, and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and RF front ends.
Create electromagnetic simulation models for hardware including antennas, filters, and PCB layouts.
Develop and test phased array alignment solutions.
Create design, validation, and production test solutions for high-volume consumer products and gateway antennas.
Write Python automation software to interact with units under test and measurement instrumentation.
Own the development of phased array, Wi-Fi, and other RF systems for customer-facing hardware.
Manage advanced parabolic antenna systems for gateways and ground stations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or another engineering discipline.
1+ years of experience with antennas or communication systems.
1+ years of experience with radio test equipment like spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
1+ years of programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB.
Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering with an emphasis on RF/antenna engineering is preferred.
Experience designing wireless communication systems and understanding link budgets and antenna theory.
Knowledge of RF active/passive components and characterizing radio performance at microwave frequencies.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
