What you'll do

Design advanced antenna and feed systems for next-generation phased array antennas and test systems.
Fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, feed systems, and radio frequency front ends.
Develop software and test digital beamforming systems to demonstrate full phased array functionality.
Set specifications and debug problems for satellite phased array and ground test products.
Perform validation testing on both prototype and production designs.
Integrate antennas into spacecraft and other complex systems.
Analyze in-the-field operational RF performance data to debug issues and improve performance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
2+ years of research or development experience in the areas of RF and antennas.
1+ years of experience using 3D electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, FEKO, EMPro, TICRA, or XFDTD.
Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering with research or thesis work on RF or antennas (preferred).
1+ years of programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB (preferred).
Familiarity with RF circuit simulation tools, antenna measurement techniques, and prototyping tools (preferred).
Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
