What you'll do

Design antennas for communications and sensors across the VHF through Ka-band frequencies.
Build and characterize antenna, feed, and front-end prototypes.
Develop measurement systems to support hardware design and testing.
Analyze wireless systems including antenna isolation, patterns, and propagation effects.
Manage product development from initial design concept through prototyping and production.
Perform system integration, testing, and on-console support for flight missions.
Own communication systems from baseband FPGA and modem through the RF passband.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
1+ years of relevant professional or project experience with antennas or RF systems.
1+ years of experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
Master's degree in electrical engineering with emphasis in electromagnetic theory and/or microwave circuits (preferred).
Experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers (preferred).
Proficiency with RF concepts including impedance matching, microwave network analysis, and RF filter design (preferred).
Experience with electromagnetics simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or Savant (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
