Presales Solutions Engineer, Email Security

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery sessions to identify customer business goals, security challenges, and infrastructure gaps.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions tailored to specific customer requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop high-level architectures, solution proposals, and supporting technical documentation for email security environments.
• Deliver product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings to both technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to validate and refine proposed technical solutions.
• Manage pre-sales proof-of-concept (PoC) efforts to validate the technical fitness and business value of products.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure a smooth transition of projects to post-sales delivery teams after closing an opportunity.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Intermediate knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
• Intermediate expertise in email security technologies including SEG, API-based protection, phishing defense, and DLP.
• Experience with email security platforms like Proofpoint, Mimecast, and Abnormal.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products by articulating value propositions to diverse audiences.
• Strong documentation skills for creating system/network diagrams and customer-facing presentations.
• Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, systems integrator, or technology provider environment.
• CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SSCP, or relevant vendor-specific cybersecurity certifications (preferred).
