Presales Solutions Engineer, Data Protection

What you'll do

• Act as a customer-facing cloud security expert to provide a consultative approach to security projects.
• Develop and deliver new security services offerings to address specific customer requests and opportunities.
• Educate internal sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies through various training sessions.
• Develop sales collateral and use cases in the SHI lab to support cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Communicate complex technical ideas and value propositions to diverse audiences, including CIOs and CISOs.
• Stay current on new technology, market trends, and industry behaviors through self-study and lab work.
• Manage complex projects and tasks while ensuring all details are addressed and quality is maintained.
• Travel to client locations for meetings, conferences, and technical engagements as required.

What we're looking for

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
• Intermediate strong technical identity governance and security knowledge including DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM, and ransomware recovery.
• Ability to effectively communicate and sell complex technical products by articulating value propositions to diverse audiences.
• Advanced certification in CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant OEM certifications (preferred).
• Ability to travel to client locations up to 20% of the time.
