Presales Solutions Engineer, Data Security

What you'll do

• Act as a customer-facing data security expert to provide a consultative approach to security projects.
• Develop and deliver new security services offerings to address specific customer requests and opportunities.
• Educate internal sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies through various training sessions.
• Develop sales collateral and create use cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements.
• Scope and assist in the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) for professional services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security frameworks, market trends, and mainstream technologies like Proofpoint and zScaler.
• Communicate complex technical ideas and value propositions to diverse audiences, including CIOs and CISOs.

What we're looking for

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required.
• 5+ years experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years experience in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Experience and understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
• Strong technical knowledge of DLP, DSPM, DDR, and file encryption.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products by articulating value propositions to customers.
• Expertise in mainstream technologies including Proofpoint, zScaler, Mimecast, Cyera, Varonis, Concentric, and Sentra.
• Advanced certification in CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant OEM certifications (preferred).
