Presales Engineer

What you'll do

• Conduct customer requirements discovery to identify specific needs for first responder and government clients.
• Develop comprehensive technology strategies to address complex public safety challenges.
• Design end-to-end system architectures for mobile voice, data, and video solutions.
• Develop detailed technical proposals for federal government civilian and law enforcement customers.
• Deliver internal and external technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform equipment and software solution demos, including configuration and testing.
• Own the technical design of solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements and mission goals.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in Sales, Pre Sales, Project Management, Engineering, or Public Safety.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a necessary security clearance.
• Ability to pass a stringent fingerprint background check for CJIS Security Policy compliance.
• Experience with wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures (preferred).
• Experience with Cloud (FedRAMP), IP networking architecture, protocols, and security (preferred).
• Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, microwave design, and traffic/capacity modeling (preferred).
• Ability to work in Linthicum Heights, MD at least 3 days a week and travel up to 25% of the time.
