Power Integrity Engineer

What you'll do

• Model and simulate the power delivery network (PDN) across die, interposer, package, board, and voltage regulators.
• Define off-die droop budgets and manage all SoC droop related topics including inrush and noise coupling.
• Design end-to-end power delivery solutions to meet stringent impedance and voltage droop specifications.
• Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design teams.
• Perform feasibility studies for silicon floorplans, advanced droop mitigation schemes, and voltage regulator tuning.
• Conduct model-to-hardware correlation on both component and product levels.
• Verify power integrity quality through physical lab measurements and equipment analysis.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Master's or PhD with a background in Power/Signal Integrity, Analog Circuit Design, or Electromagnetism.
• Proficiency in Python coding and AI/ML assisted automation.
• Experience in PI/SI methodology development and PDN modeling from system to die.
• Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solutions.
• Knowledge of 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic theory, and transmission line theory.
• Familiarity with lab equipment including VNA, real-time scopes, and spectrum analyzers.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a multi-functional team.
