The Portfolio Data Analyst joins the Strategic Portfolio Management team within the Unified Communications Group to bridge market reality with advanced data infrastructure and executive strategy. This role involves building automated strategic foresight engines, developing production-grade code for data pipelines, and creating "Sense-Decide-Act-Learn" operational loops using agent-driven AI tools. The analyst will perform financial modeling for SKU attach rates, conduct competitive assessments, and manage metric governance to ensure data integrity across platforms. Key responsibilities include building interactive dashboards to monitor feature usage and cloud costs while democratizing intelligence through natural language tools for non-technical stakeholders. To succeed, the candidate must possess advanced Python skills using NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and Scikit-learn, along with SQL proficiency, Tableau or Power BI experience, and complex financial modeling in Excel to solve problems within a unified voice and data network ecosystem.
Write production-grade code to build data pipelines and provide portfolio performance updates.
Architect automated decision engines using agent-driven AI tools to synthesize complex data in real-time.
Develop financial models, cost-benefit analyses, and SKU attach rates to support product roadmap prioritization.
Integrate self-service AI and natural language tools to democratize data access for non-technical stakeholders.
Manage metric governance and data quality by using SQL to ensure integrity across various platforms.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards to provide visibility into feature usage and cloud cost drivers.
Quantify the ROI of new features and use predictive models to anticipate market shifts and competitor behaviors.
Monitor project timelines and key initiatives to ensure all business actions meet scheduled deadlines.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, STEM, or a related quantitative field.
2 to 4 years of experience as a data analyst, financial analyst, strategy analyst, or in product growth/management consulting within SaaS or high-growth tech.
Advanced Python development for data manipulation and machine learning using NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and Scikit-learn.
Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and platform integration.
Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and complex financial modeling in Excel.
MBA or Master's degree in Data Science, Financial Engineering, or Strategic Portfolio Management (preferred).
Prior experience in top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, or Revenue Operations in B2B/SaaS (preferred).
Demonstrated "Scientific Tinkerer" mindset with intellectual curiosity and comfort in high-ambiguity environments (preferred).
