As a PLM Developer on the ArsenalOS team, you will architect and implement mission-critical Teamcenter customizations, integrations, and solutions to enable engineering teams to manage complex hardware products at scale. You will build high-performance integrations between Teamcenter and other systems like ERP, MES, and CAD while developing custom ITK services, SOA integrations, and Active Workspace customizations. The role requires deep expertise in Teamcenter internals, BMIDE data modeling, and infrastructure including C++, Java, C#, and SQL. You will also utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate production. This position focuses on creating a unified engineering backbone by integrating disparate systems into a cohesive platform to solve challenges in product data management, bill of materials, change management, and configuration management within the manufacturing lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver complex Teamcenter customizations using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, and Active Workspace.
  • Build high-performance integrations between Teamcenter and systems like ERP, MES, CAD, and requirements management.
  • Design and implement scalable data models and business logic while minimizing upgrade friction.
  • Improve platform observability and reliability using tools such as Datadog.
  • Establish engineering standards through architectural guidance and high-quality code contributions.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to accelerate production cycles.
  • Define architecture standards for scalable growth from concept to prototype to production.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • U.S. Person status is required to access export controlled data.
  • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Teamcenter development experience including ITK (C/C++), BMIDE, SOA, and Active Workspace.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Java, C++, and C#.
  • Experience with modern software practices such as Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server) including data modeling and query optimization.
