Senior PLM Developer As a member of the ArsenalOS team, you will serve as a builder focused on architecting and implementing mission-critical Teamcenter customizations, integrations, and solutions to manage complex hardware products at scale. You will develop custom ITK services, SOA integrations, Active Workspace customizations, and high-performance connections between Teamcenter and systems like ERP, MES, and CAD. The role requires deep expertise in Teamcenter internals, BMIDE data modeling, and infrastructure such as CI/CD and cloud-native architecture. You will utilize Java, C++, C#, SQL, and AI-assisted tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to solve complex problems regarding BOM management, configuration management, and engineering change workflows. This role addresses the challenge of creating a unified production system where design changes and manufacturing data flow seamlessly across integrated software platforms to eliminate disconnected silos in hardware development.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver complex Teamcenter customizations using ITK, SOA, BMIDE, and Active Workspace.
  • Build high-performance integrations between Teamcenter and systems like ERP, MES, CAD, and change management.
  • Design and implement scalable data models and business logic while minimizing upgrade friction.
  • Improve platform observability and reliability using tools like Datadog.
  • Establish engineering standards through architectural guidance and high-quality code contributions.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate the production of high-quality software.
  • Define architecture standards for scalable growth from concept to prototype to production.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • U.S. Person status is required to access export controlled data.
  • 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role building products.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Teamcenter development including ITK (C/C++), BMIDE, SOA, and Active Workspace.
  • Proficiency in Java, C++, and C# programming languages.
  • Experience with modern software practices including Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code review.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience with database systems (SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server) and data modeling.
