Platform Systems Engineering and Integration Internship

What you'll do

• Develop and verify system requirements for submarine designs.
• Resolve technical integration challenges across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Develop test programs to ensure system functionality.
• Create Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for naval systems.
• Manage interfaces between various components and subsystems.
• Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for design processes.
• Coordinate 3-D model arrangements during Electronic Visualization System meetings.
• Coordinate with NAVSEA customers to obtain approval for 3-D model arrangements.

What we're looking for

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• US citizenship is required.
• Must pass a medical screening, drug test, and potential DOD investigation.
• Must be enrolled full-time in a college or university.
• Must have completed at least one year of college before the start of the internship.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week for at least eight consecutive weeks during Summer 2027.
• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Ocean, Nuclear, Electrical, Computer/Software, or Systems Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong communication skills are required.
