What you'll do

  • Develop software to control and monitor mission-critical payload systems.
  • Build full-stack applications including user interfaces and backend services.
  • Manage data flows and system integrations for complex hardware-software environments.
  • Contribute to the entire product lifecycle from initial design through deployment.
  • Test and improve features to ensure reliability, safety, and quality in high-stakes operations.
  • Troubleshoot software that interacts with sensors, devices, and real-time data.
  • Develop automated test tools and integrate systems within a Linux environment.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preference for students with a standing of sophomore or higher.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience building web applications, APIs, embedded software, or automated test tools through coursework, projects, clubs, or internships (preferred).
  • Familiarity with full-stack development tools, version control, Linux, cloud services, databases, or CI/CD practices (preferred).
  • Experience debugging hardware-software integrations or working with sensors, devices, or real-time data (preferred).
