As an Android Platform Software Engineering Intern - Summer 2027, you will join the team responsible for developing and testing software at the core of communication systems. You will participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements capture, design, implementation, and testing using TDD and Agile methodologies. Your daily work involves designing and developing state of the art microprocessor-based digital communication systems to solve critical communication needs for federal and public safety markets. To succeed in this role, you must possess knowledge of Java, Android Studio, and the Android SDK, along with experience in embedded software development using Object Oriented Design. Additional preferred skills include proficiency in C, C++, or Python, as well as familiarity with Linux kernel development, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Test Driven Development within a collaborative team environment.
