Platform SW Engineer, Automotive

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and modify embedded and cloud edge software for automotive products.
• Validate specialized utility programs and software modules to meet customer requirements.
• Lead the development and debugging of platform software drivers and modules.
• Analyze software product requirements and use cases for integration with hardware blocks.
• Develop software layers for SoCs including boot, drivers, firmware, and kernels.
• Perform hardware debugging using JTAG and C programming for ARM-based systems.
• Ensure software compliance with automotive standards such as ISO26262 and ISO21434.
• Manage technical interactions and communications with automotive customers and partners.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Exposure to automotive SW development processes and standards such as ASPCE, ISO26262 and ISO21434 (preferred).
• Knowledge of interaction types between hardware and software for standard hardware blocks, CPU, and accelerators (preferred).
• Experience in software design and development for SoC software layers including boot, drivers, firmware, security, safety, and kernels (preferred).
• Software experience in embedded software development for ARM based systems (preferred).
• Proficiency in C programming, HW debugging with JTAG, OS fundamentals, analytical and logical reasoning (preferred).
