As a #Platform SW Engineer, Automotive, you will join the automotive team to develop next-generation solutions for infotainment, telematics, and autonomous driving systems. You will be responsible for understanding software product requirements and use cases while leading the development, debugging, and customer interactions for various platform software drivers and modules. Your daily work involves designing, developing, and validating embedded and cloud edge software that integrates with specific hardware blocks or sub-systems. The role requires proficiency in C programming, OS fundamentals, and hardware debugging using JTAG. You will work with technologies including ARM-based systems, Linux, QNX, and SafeRTOS kernels. Additionally, you will navigate complex technical domains such as 5G, Cellular V2X, Computer Vision, and AI/Deep Learning while ensuring compliance with automotive standards like ASPICE, ISO26262, and ISO21434 to solve critical connectivity and safety problems.
Design, develop, and modify embedded and cloud edge software for automotive products.
Develop and debug platform software drivers and modules for various hardware blocks.
Integrate software applications with specific hardware sub-systems and SoC components.
Manage customer interactions regarding platform software requirements and technical specifications.
Implement firmware, bootloaders, and kernel-level code for Linux or QNX systems.
Perform hardware debugging using JTAG and other diagnostic tools on ARM-based systems.
Ensure software compliance with automotive standards such as ISO26262 and ISO21434.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in software design and development for SoC layers including boot, drivers, firmware, security, safety, and kernels like Linux, QNX, or SafeRTOS.
Experience in embedded software development for ARM based systems.
Proficiency in C programming and OS fundamentals.
Ability to perform hardware debugging with JTAG.
Knowledge of interaction types between hardware and software for standard hardware blocks, CPUs, and accelerators.
Exposure to automotive software development processes and standards such as ASPICE, ISO26262, and ISO21434.
