What you'll do

Design, develop, and modify embedded and cloud edge software for high-performance products.
Develop and optimize software stacks for complex SoCs with multiple cores and memory systems.
Implement Edge AI and multimedia features while optimizing for performance and power consumption.
Create SDKs to enable customer and community development on Qualcomm platforms.
Debug, profile, and optimize code for embedded real-time environments.
Perform performance evaluations using QEMU, simulators, emulators, and actual silicon.
Define software architecture by coordinating with hardware and system teams.
Develop hardware drivers and manage inter-processor communications.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 6+ years of software engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
Experience with operating systems, multi-threaded programming, and hardware drivers.
Expertise in developing, debugging, profiling, and optimizing for embedded real-time environments.
Deep knowledge of ARM CPU architecture fundamentals, ISA, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in performance evaluation using QEMU, simulators, emulators, and on-silicon tools.
