The Planning Product Manager joins the Poly Video portfolio team to drive the evolution of unified communications experiences. This role focuses on the discovery, feasibility, and definition of new products by translating customer workflows and pain points into actionable requirements, user stories, and prioritized feature definitions. The successful candidate will manage product roadmaps, coordinate with engineering and design teams, and lead complex planning workstreams from concept through development readiness. Analyze customer, market, and competitive data to identify product needs and experience gaps.
Translate customer insights into business requirements, user stories, and prioritized feature definitions.
Lead complex planning projects by coordinating activities across engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
Maintain product roadmaps including dependencies, risks, and critical decision points.
Analyze product data and feedback to recommend improvements for quality, reliability, and cost.
Produce professional documentation, decision materials, and status communications for stakeholders.
Support go-to-market readiness through positioning, messaging, and sales enablement activities.
What we're looking for
A four-year or graduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.
4 to 7 years of relevant experience in product management, planning, development, engineering, or a related field (or 3 to 5 years with an advanced degree).
Developed knowledge of product management methods, new product development, lifecycle management, strategy, and roadmaps.
Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear requirements, user stories, priorities, and decision criteria.
Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices and collaboration with hardware, software, UX, and engineering teams.
Strong data analysis, structured problem-solving, and judgment when evaluating alternatives and recommending solutions.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of Unified Communications, enterprise video/audio systems, APIs, or software platforms (preferred).
