Physician Support Informaticist 2

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one post-classroom training on Epic UChart applications and modules to physicians.
• Resolve end-user problems regarding software, hardware, and network difficulties within clinical information systems.
• Perform periodic rounding in ambulatory and clinic settings to identify and document provider issues.
• Travel to satellite locations to provide onsite support during system go-lives.
• Analyze new software releases to determine impacts on physician workflows and prioritize necessary changes.
• Develop documentation and training strategies for new system features in collaboration with trainers.
• Optimize and harmonize workflows to reduce system variability and streamline technology processes.
• Conduct validation testing and user acceptance testing for system implementations and upgrades.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Epic Certification in at least one core module is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical operations, Hospital IT, or as a Healthcare Vendor working primarily with physician groups is required.
• Experience with a Healthcare Vendor providing ATE support for providers and physicians during Go Live is required.
• Proficiency in one or more Epic specialty modules, such as Radiant, Beacon, OpTime, or Kaleidoscope, is required.
• Vendor or consulting experience is preferred.
• Technical proficiency in office software, technology, and relevant computer applications is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
