Physical Design Methodology CAD Engineer

As a Physical Design Methodology CAD Engineer within the Hardware Technology CAD team, you will develop flows, tools, and methodologies to support next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient SoC designs including CPU, GPU, and Analog/Mixed Signal components. You will be responsible for creating custom CAD tools for implementation and signoff, enabling new technology nodes, and improving PPA and design productivity through machine learning based solutions and GenAI applications. Your daily work involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and EDA tool vendors to resolve issues and optimize processes. The role requires proficiency in Tcl, Python, or Perl scripting languages along with experience in CAD flow or physical design methodology development. You will address complex challenges in the physical design and optimization space while ensuring successful deployment of advanced hardware components across various product lines.
