Physical Design Methodology CAD Engineer

As a Physical Design Methodology CAD Engineer within the Hardware Technology CAD team, you will develop flows, tools, and methodologies to support the design of high-performance, power-efficient SoCs, CPUs, GPUs, and Analog/Mixed Signal designs. Your daily responsibilities include creating custom CAD tools for implementation and signoff, developing solutions for physical design optimization, and building internal methodologies using CAD algorithms and machine learning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and EDA tool vendors to improve PPA and design productivity while exploring new technology nodes and standard cells. The role requires proficiency in Tcl, Python, or Perl scripting languages and experience in CAD flow or physical design methodology development. You will also leverage GenAI tools to develop applications that enhance team productivity across various chip designs for high-performance products.
