OT Support Operator, Factory Systems

What you'll do

• Build and configure industrial PCs, control stations, and other factory hardware.
• Flash operating system images and software packages onto devices using standard procedures.
• Test hardware functionality and perform equipment swaps to resolve technical issues.
• Provide first-line support for hardware problems and manage incoming service tickets.
• Track inventory of devices and spare parts within asset management systems.
• Document deployment activities, troubleshooting steps, and completion of checklists in ticketing systems.
• Coordinate the physical movement and setup of equipment across various campus locations.

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or technical certification is preferred.
• CompTIA A+ or similar certifications are preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support, hardware deployment, desktop support, or a related technical role.
• Experience building computers, installing operating systems, and working with hardware.
• Proficiency in hardware assembly, OS imaging, and basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, use ticketing systems, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and work in factory environments.
