Oracle Utilities Market Transaction Framework (MTF) Functional Lead
As an Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) and Customer Cloud Service (CCS) expert, you will serve as a subject matter expert within the Oracle practice. You will lead the functional design, configuration, and delivery of market transaction processes for deregulated energy markets, including enrollment, switch, move-in/move-out, meter reads, and billing determinant exchanges. Your daily responsibilities include translating business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications, managing inbound and outbound message processing, and defining orchestration flows between CCS and third-party systems like ISOs, EDCs, and MDMs. You will utilize Oracle CCS, CC&B, and potentially Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to manage transaction types and business rules. Key skills include experience with EDI, XML, CSV formats, and proficiency in utility industry processes such as retail energy, distribution, and metering within an agile delivery environment.
Lead the functional design and configuration of the Oracle CCS Market Transaction Framework.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for market transaction processing in deregulated energy markets.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional specifications, configuration documents, and system design artifacts.
Define market message formats and orchestration flows between CCS and third-party systems with integration architects.
Lead and facilitate functional workshops, fit/gap analyses, and solution walkthroughs with client stakeholders.
Provide expert guidance on transaction categories, processing rules, error handling, and market participant setup.
Mentor junior functional analysts and coordinate cross-functional workstreams within the project team.
Manage go-live readiness activities including cutover planning, hypercare, and post-production support.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle CC&B or Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (CCS).
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience configuring and implementing the Market Transaction Framework (MTF).
Minimum of 1 year of experience leading functional workstreams on full-lifecycle Oracle Utilities implementations.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with US Energy Market Regulatory, Oracle CCS/CC&B modules, and technical documentation like FDDs and configuration workbooks.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience).
Associate's Degree with equivalent work experience.
Must have valid work authorization for the United States that does not require sponsorship.
Oracle Utilities CCS Cloud certification, OIC experience, and utility industry background are preferred.
