The Oracle Utilities Onshore Report Strategy Lead joins the Oracle practice to lead the onshore reporting strategy for a large-scale Oracle Utilities IT transition. This role involves defining reporting architecture, tooling standards, and governance frameworks while translating complex business, operational, and regulatory requirements into functional designs. You will manage onshore and offshore resources, set quality standards, and collaborate with data architects to ensure accurate data models. Key responsibilities include designing priority deliverables, establishing documentation conventions, and creating KPI dashboards to track program health. The position requires proficiency with Power BI, OBIEE, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) within an Oracle Utilities context. You must navigate specific utility industry regulatory reporting requirements, such as FERC and state PUC, to turn data into actionable decisions for stakeholders.
Define and lead the onshore reporting strategy for a large-scale Oracle Utilities IT transition.
Establish reporting architecture, tooling standards, delivery approaches, and governance frameworks.
Translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into Oracle Utilities reporting designs using Power BI, OBIEE, or OAC.
Lead the design and delivery of priority reporting deliverables aligned with program milestones.
Manage onshore and offshore reporting team resources, setting delivery priorities and quality standards.
Engage client stakeholders to validate requirements, review designs, and present completed deliverables.
Define report design standards, templates, and documentation conventions to ensure consistency.
Support program leadership with KPI dashboards and operational reporting to track program health.
What we're looking for
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle Utilities reporting, BI, or analytics roles.
Minimum 5 years of experience leading reporting strategy or architecture on enterprise programs.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, OBIEE, or Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) in an Oracle Utilities context.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior lead or manager role for reporting delivery on an Oracle Utilities implementation or IT transformation program.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience).
Associate's Degree with a minimum of 6 years' work experience.
Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or OBIEE certification (preferred).
Experience with Oracle Utilities data warehouse, analytics accelerator products, or utility industry regulatory reporting (preferred).
