What you'll do

Lead technical investigations into fleet-wide performance or reliability issues and present findings to executives.
Build and maintain infrastructure, tools, and custom software to assess Starlink aviation hardware performance.
Apply data science and statistical inference to build models that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
Develop tooling and processes to reduce time to resolution for customer technical issues.
Create automated data pipelines and dashboards to monitor and alert on fleet reliability metrics.
Analyze findings from defective hardware returns to improve manufacturing and quality standards.
Manage the analysis of field monitoring data to identify and resolve aviation-specific hardware failures.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data analysis, or another STEM discipline.
1+ years of experience with SQL.
1+ years of experience with data analysis in Python/R.
Experience with Bash scripting (preferred).
Strong coding skills based on software design principles and experience building predictive models or analytics pipelines (preferred).
Familiarity with data science, machine learning fundamentals, and statistical analysis (preferred).
Experience in technical operational roles, electrical, RF, Wi-Fi, or network engineering (preferred).
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, protected refugee, asylee, or eligible for relevant export control authorizations.
