Operational Support Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end logistics coordination including procurement, delivery, and availability of gear for field operations.
• Develop and maintain a sparing strategy to manage critical inventory levels and minimize operational downtime.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of AUVs and heavy-duty equipment in the field.
• Establish and enforce preventive maintenance schedules and conduct monthly inventories across multiple assets.
• Conduct site surveys to identify logistical requirements and constraints for new and existing locations.
• Coordinate test site mobilization and demobilization efforts including ground transport and craning operations.
• Develop and standardize deployment documents, checklists, and strategic planning materials.
• Serve as the primary interface for logistics and sparing while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of relevant work experience in logistics, equipment maintenance, or operational support.
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating operational logistics in a field environment.
• Strong organizational skills for managing complex inventories and equipment across distributed assets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Oracle or equivalent ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and deploy up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
• Hoisting Engineer License, HMT 252 Shipping Excepted Lithium Batteries, or 100T Captains License (preferred).
• Knowledge of offshore HSE policies, marine operations, or military logistics experience (preferred).
