The Network Team Lead joins the Infrastructure team to support a federal client’s networking, telecommunication, and firewall technologies. In this role, you will provide technical guidance for information systems operations while planning, organizing, and directing the Network Operations Team to ensure stable infrastructure performance. Your daily responsibilities include managing priorities for monitoring and maintenance of LANs, WANs, internet, intranet, and wireless systems. You will oversee routine testing and analysis of firewalls, coordinate timely resolutions for hardware and software problems, and manage project timelines while ensuring security compliance. To succeed, you must possess a degree in a related technical field, ITIL v4 Foundation certification, and extensive experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. You will also implement enterprise-wide monitoring systems to maintain high performance across the nationwide network infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.
Plan, organize, and direct the Network Operations Team to ensure stable infrastructure operation.
Maintain, support, and optimize network, firewall, and telecommunications systems.
Manage priorities for the monitoring and maintenance of LANs, WANs, internet, intranet, and wireless networks.

What we're looking for
US Citizenship is required.
Must possess a BI Full 6C (T4) public trust.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking, or Telecommunications.
10+ years of related experience.
ITIL v4 Foundation Certified (preferred).
Working knowledge of networking concepts, infrastructure, and equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Experience implementing and administering an enterprise-wide monitoring system for servers, networking devices, and applications.
Proficiency in project management with knowledge of security and compliance issues.
