Familiarity with hyperscale/OEM deployment constraints and high-speed I/O platforms is preferred. This role sits within Intel’s Central Engineering Group, focusing on scalable engineering solutions across various pillars including Product Enablement and Custom ASIC.

What you'll do

Define adapter card architecture including form factor, I/O topology, and feature partitioning.
Drive system-level requirements closure early to align SoC capabilities with customer expectations.
Lead cross-functional reviews to ensure adapter design meets platform integration needs.
Own thermal and power envelope definition for add-in cards, coordinating with mechanical engineering.
Define manageability architecture across OEM variants, ensuring operational support and secure device identity.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in NIC/adapter platform architecture or related fields.
Proven ability to define adapter/card architectures balancing multiple constraints.
Strong understanding of platform manageability concepts and sideband integration.
Experience defining thermal/power envelopes for add-in cards or constrained platforms.
Demonstrated skill in driving cross-functional alignment and delivering specifications.
